The school feeding program financed by the Early Grade Learning Project in Burundi PAADESCO is an ongoing program in two food insecure provinces in Burundi (Muyinga and Kirundo). To date 87,000 children are receiving daily hot meals for the past four and a half years. Better school retention and better learning are among the good result already registered by this program. Parents participate in growing, preparing, and serving the food at schools.
