The World Bank has supported Indonesia's public financial management reform through Multi-Donor Trust Fund, or PFM MDTF, financed by the Government of Canada, the Government of Switzerland, and the European Union. Since 2007, the program has helped enhance Indonesia's tax administration, promote budget efficiency, improve subnational public resource management, and support digital transformation in the Ministry of Finance. In its third phase, the MDTF program will improve the performance orientation of revenue and expenditure management and gender equality outcomes while contributing to digital transformation and resilience to climate change and disaster risks.
