The Planning and Development Department of Government of Sindh oversees the management of the provincial public investment development portfolio. It thus prepares Annual Development Program (ADP) including various development schemes. These schemes are at such a massive scale that completing them in an efficient and transparent manner is a major challenge. Due to the lack of live monitoring and feedback of beneficiaries it was impossible to take informed and timely decisions about these schemes.To help address these challenges we have created a tool that will improve project monitoring and allow schemes to be executed more efficiently. The Annual Development Program was developed and implemented with the support from the World Bank’s Sindh Public Sector Management Reform Project. Live progress updates and feedback from the beneficiaries allow the concerned officials to take more informed and timely decisions which can make these development schemes more efficient as well as transparent.
