Shoira is the chairwoman of the Board of the Bank "Arvand" in Tajikistan. She has led the bank from a 12-person office to one of the largest microfinance institutions in the country, with 950 employees across 72 offices. Shoira reflects on her decision to return to Tajikistan after studying abroad, on designing services for women, and on women leaders.
