China is the world’s largest emitter of greenhouses gases (GHGs), accounting for over a quarter of global emissions. More than 2,500 industrial parks across China house the majority of the country’s industrial production, which is responsible for around 70 percent of environmental pollution and GHG emissions. Greening of industrial parks can play a significant role in meeting China’s 2060 carbon neutrality target.
