After emerging from decades of armed conflict, Angola found itself immersed in a new challenge – an entire generation of young professionals without the skills necessary to thrive in the workforce. But with this new challenge emerged an exciting opportunity – the ability to simultaneously strengthen the country’s water supply and sanitation sector and give hope to promising young professionals. Watch this video to hear from young professionals themselves about how a World Bank-supported program allowed them to be mentored by sector experts and gain skills that built a foundation for long-term careers in the water supply and sanitation field.
