Households in Tajikistan are particularly vulnerable to shocks. Among many other indicators, the high frequency survey Listening to Tajikistan (L2T) continuously monitors life satisfaction in Tajikistan, providing information that can help quantify the severity of shocks, and their importance for the population’s wellbeing. The survey was launched by the World Bank in 2015 as a means to measure the impact of the regional economic slowdown on households in Tajikistan.
