The National Forest Inventory in Albania is supported by the World Bank, the Swedish Government, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the Environmental Services Project. Trained experts are conducting field measurements throughout the country, gathering data on 60 indicators for Albanian forests. Such data and analysis will indicate development trends in the forest sector, and help the policy makers make informed decisions for a sustainable development of forests.
