Modern Ukraine was born in 1991. The country had huge potential, thanks to its educated population, rich natural resources, and a developed industrial base. But until the EuroMaidan Revolution in 2013-2014 the critical reforms remained on stand-by. Today, modest economic growth has returned to Ukraine, but much more needs to be done. There are several reasons to remain optimistic.
