Through the Community Driven Development (CDD) project, community savings groups have been established in conflict-affected areas of Thailand’s deep south, providing interest-free loans that villagers can use to start small businesses. One of the borrowers, Nuriyah, now a proud owner of a thriving curry shop, is helping bring communities together, building mutual trust over tasty bowls of curry.
