A new bridge has improved the quality of life of villagers in a remote valley in Daykundi province by bringing them all weather access to health, education and commerce facilities. The project, supported by the World Bank and ARTF, has helped improve and and maintain thousands of kilometers of secondary and tertiary roads across Afghanistan.
