The Investment Climate team of the World Bank Group’s Trade & Competitiveness global practice helps countries improve their investment competitiveness. The concept of investment competitiveness refers to a country’s capability to attract, retain, and leverage foreign and domestic investment for private sector-led growth. This short video introduces the concept through interviews with several government clients and private sector partners from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kenya and Ethiopia. Connecting public policies to constraints and opportunities experienced or presented by private sector is a key dimension of this work.
