The Kumasi Business Incubator (KBI) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is providing young entrepreneurs like Peter Paul Akanko, CEO and Designer of Kente Master, and Prince Boadu, CEO of Maptech Logistics LTD, the tools they need to help turn their innovative ICT-based ideas into successful businesses. Akanko and Boadu were two of 25 business owners who graduated from the year-long program in 2015. KBI was funded in part by IDA, the World Bank’s fund for the poorest, in support of the government’s goal to increase employment opportunities in ICT through public private partnerships. worldbank.org/africa | #IDAworks
