"Powering up Biruh Tesfa (Bright Future)" is a program for girls aged 7 to 18 in low income areas of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project's goal is to increase literacy levels and improve health and well-being among out-of-school girls in urban slums, including child domestic workers, rural-urban migrants and orphans. Since its inception, the program has supported over 3000 of Addis Ababa's poorest girls.
