Improved Livestock Markets, Veterinary Services and Access to Water Bring Life-Changing Support to Sudan's Livestock-Reliant Communities

Using revenue from the sale of their animals through the Livestock Production and Marketing Project (LPMP), villagers in Sudan's North Kordofan State have improved their access to water, education and food. The Livestock Production and Marketing Project is funded through the Multi-Donor Trust Fund-National (MDTF-N), a means for donor countries to contribute to the reconstruction and development needs of war-torn areas in Sudan. Funding for the MDTF-N ends June 30, 2013.
