On October 10, 2021, a meeting was held between Mr. Roman Marshavin, the Executive Director for Russia and Syria, and the delegation representing Mali during the Annual Meeting, led by the Minister of Economy and Finance of Mali, Alousséni Sanou. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Ambassador of Mali Sekou Berte and other officials representing ministries and departments of the country.
The discussion covered a range of issues, including the re-engagement of the WBG in Mali, problems and new opportunities for the WBG projects in FCV countries, the political and economic situation in Mali, as well as bilateral relations between Russia and Mali in trade and energy sectors.

10 октября состоялась встреча российского исполнительного директора Р.Маршавина с Министром экономики и финансов Мали А.Сану. На встрече также присутствовал Посол Мали в США С.Берте и другие официальные лица, представляющие министерства и ведомства страны.
В ходе встречи обсуждалось возобновление проектов ГВБ в Мали, проблемы и новые возможности, связанные с реализацией проектов в нестабильных и постконфликтных странах, политическое и экономическое положение в Мали, а также двусторонние отношения между Россией и Мали в сфере торговли и энергетики.
