Upcoming World Bank Regional Conference to discuss the challenges of enhancing transparency and accountability in Latin American and Caribbean
MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY, April 21, 2016 – The World Bank invites media representatives to participate in the upcoming regional conference, Cuentas Claras, Governance for Growth with Equity in Latin America and the Caribbean. Nearly 300 leaders from the region, international partners, academia and civil society will be gathering in Montevideo, on April 28th and 29th to discuss how to raise long-term growth with a greater focus on transparency, accountability and equity.
