WASHINGTON, April 6 2016— The Integrity Compliance Office of the World Bank Group has determined that, as of March 30, 2016, Ha Long Consulting and Investment, JSC (f/k/a Thang Long Infrastructure Development JSC), on its behalf and on behalf of its affiliates— Hoa Long JSC; Mien Tay Branch; and Thuan Thanh Water Ltd. (collectively, Halcom), has satisfied the conditions for Halcom’s release from WBG sanction in accordance with Section 9.03 of the World Bank Sanctions Procedures. Halcom therefore has been removed from the WBG list of debarred entities effective as of March 30, 2016.
The World Bank emphasis on corporate compliance programs aims at helping companies foster and maintain higher integrity standards.
