The Central Bank of Libya is refinancing with the World Bank a borrowing of Dutch Guilders 100 million maturing on August 15, 1984 for a maturity of 7 years. Mr. Joseph Uhrig, Director of the World Bank’s Financial Operations Department, signed the refinancing agreement on behalf of the World Bank on August 12 in Tripoli. He expressed the World Bank's appreciation to the Central Bank for Libya’s investments over many years in World Bank obligations in support of its lending operations in developing countries.
