Project Description: The additional financing will be used to expand the coverage of the conditional cash transfer component to about 200,000 more households. The Social Welfare & Development Reform Program, launched in 2009, aims to strengthen the effectiveness of the Department of Social Welfare and Development as a social protection agency and to expand the National Household Targeting System, the Philippine government’s largest updated database of poor households used in program planning and identification of beneficiaries of the program.
