Project Description: The main beneficiaries of this project will be water operators located in urban communities of more than 20,000 inhabitants, who will see their water management capacity expanded. By managing information better and through knowledge, the project seeks greater efficiency, reliability and improved water and basic sanitation services for end users. The reduction in the availability and the deterioration of water quality impacts growth and sustainable development, and in the main has a negative impact on the most vulnerable sectors of the population. The problem is magnified by the inefficient management of this resource.
