Project Description: The objective of the Second Education Development Project for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic is to assist the Borrower to achieve universal completion of primary education by implementing education policies and reform actions, including increasing access to, and completion of, primary schooling in the Project's target districts, improving the quality of education, and building the policy development and management capacity in the Ministry of Education.
