Project Description: The project will improve the quality of general education (Grades 1-12) throughout the country. The development objectives of Phase 1 of the GEQIP (2009-2013) are to: (i) improve teaching and learning conditions in primary and secondary education; and (ii) improve management planning and budget capacity of the Ministry of Education and the Regional Bureaus.
