Program Description: This project aims to provide poor communities with improved basic socio-economic infrastructures and income generating activities, by financing at least 450 subprojects to be identified and implemented directly by communities. It is expected that the Project will improve the overall social and economic situation of residents of targeted communities, rural in particular, and that through their direct participation in the decision-making process and implementation of subprojects, contribute to improved governance.
