PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This one-tranche operation is the third and final of a planned series of Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC), and strengthens the cross-cutting policy and institutional actions that were emphasized in PRSC-I (US$30 million, January 2005) and PRSC-II (US$30 million, September 2006), including public financial management reforms , more automatic and greater financial transfers to local governments, improved access to health services, labor market reforms, a better functioning of the judiciary system, and greater protection of vulnerable groups.
