Quality basic education is critical to fostering inclusive growth in South Africa, requiring key needs such as infrastructure reforms, efficient public spending, and the strengthening of human capital. To address these challenges, the World Bank Group (WBG) has proposed education reforms that focus on early education, promote public-private sector collaboration, and enhance efficiency and equity in the system. These measures aim to improve learning outcomes, ensure better resource allocation, and create a more inclusive and effective education system that supports long-term economic growth.
