On farms, droughts ruin harvests and lead to destruction of forests. Because of droughts, farmers like Dewi and Agus feel forced to clear more land to recoup their lost income. And when forests are destroyed, so are sources of water, making an already bad situation worse. Across the world, produce lost because of failed crops could feed over 80 million people every year.
