Aceh, January 19, 2011 -The World Bank, as a partner agency to the Multi Donor Fund for Aceh & Nias (MDF) and the Government of Indonesia played a vital role in the post-disaster recovery programs. One such program was the Infrastructure Reconstruction Financing Facility (IRFF) which focused on the reconstruction of key infrastructure: water supply, reservoir and drainage systems, roads, water resources and ports in Aceh and Nias.
The slideshow and video present a sketch of the local people's candid responses towards selected projects under IRFF and the impact they have had on their everyday lives.
