Join us for an essential dialogue on energy access in Africa: What are the challenges at stake, and how can we mobilize civil society and key partners to build momentum?
Nearly 600 million Africans – about half the continent's population – still live without electricity. This represents 83% of the global energy access deficit. To close the gap, the World Bank Group and the African Development Bank, have launched an ambitious initiative to connect 300 million people in Africa to electricity by 2030, also known as Mission 300.
The event will discuss the priorities and solutions to fast-track critical reforms and investments needed to achieve Mission 300's ambitious goals.
