The Word Bank Group in Poland and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Poland would like to invite you to the launch of the Country Climate and Development Report for Poland.
The Country Climate and Development Reports (CCDRs) help countries prioritize the most impactful actions that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and boost adaptation and resilience, while delivering on broader development goals. The reports build on data and rigorous research suggest concrete, priority actions to support the low-carbon, resilient transition. As public documents, CCDRs aim to inform governments, citizens, the private sector and development partners and enable engagements with the development and climate agenda.
The CCDR for Poland touches on the key aspects of Poland’s development path in the context of decarbonization, including the road to net zero emissions, the transformation of the energy sector and the decarbonization of industry, climate adaptation and building resilience, building the economy’s competitiveness, promoting inclusion and many more.
The event will be held in Polish and English with simultaneous EN - PL interpretation
