About IDA Forum
IDA has embarked on the process to develop a policy and financial package for its twenty-first round of funding (IDA21). The process launched in December 2023 and will end in December 2024. One new feature is to engage civil society partners and seek their input and feedback into the proposed IDA21 strategic policy directions early in the process of developing the package. This will happen through Regional IDA Forums to be held between April and July 2024 across all the seven regions that IDA operates in - East & Southern Africa; Western & Central Africa; Middle East & North Africa; East Asia & Pacific; Latin America & the Caribbean; South Asia; and Europe & Central Asia. This is also the first time IDA will engage so extensively across the regions to develop a replenishment package. There will also be two global IDA Forums to be held in Washington, DC in April and October 2024.
These forums will also be an opportunity to update civil society partners on the progress of implementing reforms towards a better Bank based on the Evolution Roadmap consultations.
Civil society partners wishing to attend any of these engagements can register here.
