The 8th and last session of the Learning from the Evidence on Forced Displacement training program focuses on forced displacement and jobs.
This module zooms in on the impact of forced displacement on the job outcomes of hosts and the forcibly displaced and how these outcomes can be improved. The module instructors present the global state of knowledge on the jobs impacts of forced displacement and examine new evidence for selected low- and middle-income countries. Secondly, the session summarizes the impact of policies limiting or enabling labor market participation of refugees and present new evidence on the impact of work permits. The third part of the training dives deeper into project and program interventions that aim to promote labor market inclusion of the forcibly displaced; this segment will include case studies.
