ECA Talk: Firms, Energy Efficiency and Responses to High Prices

Lionel Fontagné is an advisor to the Economic and International Cooperation Directorate of the Bank of France, a Chaired Professor of Economics (on leave) at the Paris School of Economics, Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, a scientific advisor to CEPII (Centre d’Etudes Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales, Paris) and a CESifo Research Fellow (Munich).  

Charles J. Cormier is the Infrastructure Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia and has over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and sustainable development, including 20 years at the World Bank. Mr. Cormier holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada and a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering (Extractives) from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. 

Leonardo Iacovone is a Lead Economist in the Trade, Investment and Competitiveness Global Practice at the World Bank. Leonardo has worked in the Development Research Group, the Financial and Private Sector Development Unit of the Africa Region, and the Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Global Practice. Leonardo received a PhD in Economics from University of Sussex.
