The World Bank is launching the results from the second round of the Afghanistan Welfare Monitoring Survey. This telephone survey collected information about household welfare, employment, and access to education and health services for the Afghan population in the Summer of 2022. This second round follows the release of the first-round results of this same survey in March 2022, and it presents information coming from a nationally representative sample of households located across the country. Round 2 of the survey covers the following welfare indicators: Employment and Labor Earnings; Food Security and Access to Safety Nets; School Attendance by Boys and Girls; and Access to Health Services. This round also includes a full household roster for individual-level analysis. Additional survey rounds are planned every six months.
