The high-level ministerial panel will discuss Egypt’s infrastructure development with a focus on energy transition and transport decarbonization, challenges and opportunities for Egypt to address its infrastructure connectivity while driving its decarbonization plan as part of the country’s broader climate and development agenda.
Egypt has long recognized the need to move toward a greener, more resilient, and inclusive development (GRID) path and the need to shift from a carbon intensive development trajectory to a low-carbon one as a way to ensure sustainable, inclusive development and competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
The high-level ministerial panel will discuss Egypt’s infrastructure development with a focus on energy transition and transport decarbonization, challenges and opportunities for Egypt to address its infrastructure connectivity while driving its decarbonization plan as part of the country’s broader climate and development agenda.
The event will focus on Egypt’s energy transition model and the pathway for transport decarbonization.
