Sponsored by the Accelerating Progress Towards Universal Health Coverage Project in Mali and the GFLJD FGM/C Legal Working Group, the objective of the Accelerating Progress Towards Universal Health Coverage Project for Mali (P165534) is to improve the utilization and quality of reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent health and nutrition services, especially among the poorest households, in targeted areas. By integrating preventive and responsive activities to address the negative consequences of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) on women and girls' body and on the Health sector in general, this Project responded to the call from Vice Presidents, Regional Directors, and other colleagues urging Bank's members to integrate FGM within relevant projects in practicing countries. You may have participated to the event presenting the success of the Media Campaign carried out by the Global Media Campaign in Mali within this Project; this event will present the training materials that were prepared to respond to the Government's need to improve the utilization and quality of RMNCAH-N in Mali.
