The G2P Digitization in Practice Series, launched by the G2Px Initiative, has been featuring webinars to share the experience of different countries in their journey to modernize their G2P (Government to Person) architecture to delivery social protection and other government payments.

In this second webinar of the series, we will explore the Brazilian experience digitizing the operation of the emergency benefit Auxilio Emergencial (deployed as a response to the Covid-19 socio-economic crisis in Brazil), including leveraging digital assets in the selection and onboarding of beneficiaries, and using digital payment methods for the grants. The webinar will showcase the findings from a case study prepared in partnership between the UK Government in Brazil and the World Bank to document the lessons learned throughout Auxilio Emergencial and share these lessons with other countries. The presentation of the Brazilian case study will be assessed through the lens of the G2Px Modern G2P Architecture framework and experiences across other developing countries to identify good practices to improve social protection systems.

Join us to learn more about the Brazilian context for G2P payments.
