The World Bank’s Philippines Economic Update covers recent economic and policy development and growth outlook for the Philippines. The December 2021 update includes a study on jobs and the corollary areas of improving labor market competitiveness and social protection to help the labor force recover from the pandemic.
The forum begins with a keynote address, followed by a presentation by the World Bank team about the main findings of the report, then a panel discussion, and an open forum.
Representatives of government, civil society, the private sector, multilateral and bilateral development partners, and World Bank staff are expected to participate in the event.
