Established in 2016, the World Bank Living Standards Measurement Study Plus (LSMS+) Program works to enhance the availability and methods for intra-household, self-reported, individual-disaggregated survey data collection in low- and middle income countries on key dimensions of men’s and women’s economic opportunities and welfare.
This webinar will launch LSMS+ reports focused on (i) gender differences in asset ownership and labor market outcomes in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Tanzania - based on LSMS+ survey data collected between 2016 and 2020, and (ii) recommendations for individual-disaggregated survey data collection on these topics in large-scale household surveys.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion focused on the relevance of the reports’ findings for policy and future research.
