“Strategic Talks”, the joint webinar series from the World Bank and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, has been established to discuss and determine crisis response measures during and after the COVID-19 pandemic
International and Russian experts took part in the fourth webinar of the series called “Supporting Businesses and Employment during the Pandemic”. The main objective of this webinar was to assess the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for businesses and learn from global experience on how to improve the recovery and resilience of the private sector. World Bank experts presented a brief comparative analysis of Enterprise Survey findings in different countries, as well as assessed the role of digital solutions in accelerating the Covid-19 recovery. The issues of the most effective state support measures to accelerate business recovery and the employment support measures during the pandemic were also discussed.
