The World Bank Treasury, Public Debt Management Advisory, organized the workshop on “Sovereign Asset and Liability Management”, between December 8-12, 2019 in Manama, Bahrain.
The five day, intensive workshop provided a platform for discussing practical solutions to identify, measure and mitigate different types of risks that affect both sides of the sovereign balance sheet, within an asset and liability management framework. Bringing together practitioners from finance ministries as well as the central banks, the workshop included public servants who have direct involvement in managing assets and/or liabilities.
This workshop was developed under the Government Debt and Risk Management (GDRM) Program.
