The delivery systems workshop brought together global experts and country policymakers with hands-on experience in developing delivery systems including unique identification, data management and payment systems. The workshop highlighted how disruptive technology could have a catalytic effect in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and providing a platform for targeting of public subsidies and broadening of coverage. Although technology has widened access, it also has presented challenges including privacy protection and data security.
