The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), a global non-governmental organization associated with UNESCO and dedicated to promoting the conservation, protection, and enhancement of cultural sites, is celebrating its 19th General Assembly and Scientific Symposium on December 11-15, 2017 in New Delhi, India. As part of the ICOMOS pre-meetings, the International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness (ICORP - http://icorp.icomos.org/) will meet on December 9, 2017.
During the Scientific Symposium, the Tokyo DRM Hub team will present the paper Connecting Developing Countries and International Experts for More Resilient Cultural Heritage in Development Projects: Lessons From a World Bank Technical Deep Dive, sharing the experiences and lessons learned from the Resilient Cultural Heritage and Tourism Program, specially the TDD delivered in Tokyo and Kyoto in April 10-14, 2017.
