COVID-19 crisis has unevenly affected all aspects of the fishery sector: the fished species, the destination of the product and the value chain. However, the authorities encouraged the sustainability of the fishing activity by giving priority to the supply of the domestic market. This note presents the main findings from a rapid diagnosis of the impact of COVID-19 on the fisheries sector and its vulnerability.
