BRIEF

Georgia on the Move

The World Bank Group is currently designing its new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Georgia for the period July 2018 to June 2022. The CPF will outline the Group’s support to Georgia over the coming 5 years, and it is closely aligned with country’s national development priorities.

During the design and preparation of the CPF, the Group is holding a series of consultations with key stakeholders, including the general public, to obtain a wide range of perspectives on the proposed program for Georgia.

The CPF also draws significantly upon lessons learned from the Systematic Country Diagnostic for Georgia, an in-depth analysis of how the country can end extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity in a way that is fiscally, socially and environmentally sustainable.

Upon completion of the Systematic Country Diagnostic and the Country Partnership Framework, both documents will be made available to the public on the World Bank in Georgia website.
