Giuliana Dunham Irving, Executive Secretary to the WBG Sanctions Board spoke at a panel session on November 14, 2018, addressing integrity and ethics in development, held at the 6th Conference on Anti-Corruption in Madrid, Spain. The session was moderated by Eugenia Pyntikova, counsel at the Sanctions Board Secretariat, and also included Huishu Ji, Senior Risk Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Juan Ronderos, Sanctions Officer at the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB). In addressing the audience of Spanish businesses as well as international compliance, audit, and due diligence professionals, the panel discussed the specific contributions of multilateral development banks to promoting integrity and addressing corruption risks in global development projects.
