Zainab Ahmed, a Nigerian national serves as the World Bank Group Alternate Executive Director for Angola, Nigeria and South Africa since 10th July, 2023.
Ms. Ahmed is an accountant and politician who served as the Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning of Nigeria from 2019 to 2023. She was also the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning from 2015 to 2018.
