Subika Farazi is an Economist in the World Bank’s Development Economics vice-presidency and leads the area of Financial Services within the Business Ready (B-READY) project. Subika’s work has covered areas including financial sector analysis and diagnostics, financial deepening, and financial inclusion. She has covered these and other topics through publications of articles and reports as well as through participation in numerous country policy engagements, including several IMF - World Bank Financial Sector Assessment Program missions (FSAPs). Subika has extensively worked in South Asia and Middle East and North Africa and regions.
Subika completed her undergraduate studies from Pakistan and holds a PhD in Economics from the George Washington University.
