Reina Kawai Eskimez is an Economist in the World Bank’s Prospects Group, where she researches global economic forecasting, fiscal issues, growth, and structural reforms. Her primary research interests include macroeconomics, forecasting, international economics, fiscal policy, and economic growth. Before joining the World Bank, she interned at the International Monetary Fund, where she worked on a research project related to public debt issues. Her recent journal publications focus on economic forecasting, fiscal policy, and growth. In addition to her work with international institutions, she actively participates in journal referee services and conferences. Reina holds a PhD from the University of Washington in Seattle and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
