Margot Brown is an information and knowledge management professional with leadership experience in both the private and public sectors, skilled in establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and experienced in developing and implementing innovative and effective knowledge programs. Margot's specialties include: collaborative technologies, strategic approaches to managing knowledge, information management plans and strategies, operationalizing KM, organizational development specifically change management.
Margot Brown is the Director of the Development Economics Knowledge Management Unit with the World Bank Group and is leading the work on developing and implementing the Knowledge Management Action Plan. Prior to joining the World Bank, Margot served as the Executive Director of Knowledge Services with KPMG Canada, Director of Knowledge Management with Canada Health Infoway, and Manager of Organizational Development at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Margot has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s degree in History both from Western University, London, Ontario, Canada.
